The African print fabric otherwise known as Ankara has become an essential fashion item that has transitioned from its use for just clothing to being used for shoes bags and even jewelry. They add a colorful touch to appearances. Keeping the fabric neat and new could be quite challenging as most of them fade out with time. Here are a few ways to keep your Ankara looking as good as new.


AVOID SUN DRYING
Drying out your African print in extremely sunny conditions might fasten the rate at which your African print fabric fades. It is best when dried out in shady conditions.

USE MILD SOAP

It is advisable to use mild soap for the washing of your African print fabric to avoid the loss of color or fading which may be caused by the use of very strong detergents.

WASH ONLY WHEN NECESSARY

Washing the fabric too often is not very advisable and so as much as possible, keep it neat and wash it when the need arises.
